Maserati GranCabrio - Android Auto retrofit review

After We've moved to a new place in Clayton - We've had a visit from owner of Maserati GranCabrio, 2015 model.

Which required an Android Auto and Reversing Camera to be integrated on factory audio infotainment setup, which we are specialized with.

Just like the CarPlay setup of ours, addressed in previous post:

It uses existing audio display, and sound setup, regardless of whether the system has premium sound system by BOSE or not.

So with this factory infotainment setup, the touch panel has been overlay on top of the display, under the surrounding bezel.

And the Android Auto will be displayed on that same screen, with utilize of the color display and the touch function from the touch panel, to control the apps and features those Android Auto provides.

Same goes to the Reversing Camera, which will be integrated and displayed on the same screen, whenever the car is on reverse, it will display rear sight straight away, whether It was in Android Auto screen or factory screen.

With the camera installed near trunk handle area - drawing a hole is somewhat inevitable, however we draw smallest one possible so the camera wire can just go through, not to mention we seal it to prevent water leaking or rust.

The Android Auto integration on Maserati GranTurismo, GranCabrio, Quattroporte, Ghibli and even new Levante is compatible with our product, and available from Naviplus.
